NOTTING HILL (Film review by Izarne O.)

The main characters are played by Julia Roberts and Hugh Grant. Hugh is a shy bookseller who hasn´t succeeded in love matters. One day, while he is working in his bookshop, a famous actress gets in and they start to talk. In this way begins their story love that shows us the hard life of a famous person because Anna Scott, Julia Roberts's character, is seen not simply as a desirable woman, but as a complicated one, whose life doesn't make it easy for her to be happy. Besides, there is another actor who is very funny, he is the person who is sharing the flat with Anna and William, Hugh Grant's character. Personally, I think that this film is good and I recomend you to see it because it is not difficult to understand and you'll have a good time.

I also had a good time watching Notting Hill although I think it is not Hugh Grant's best performance (in fact, I think it's quite poor). However, the secondary actors and actresses are great in this film. Grant's flatmate is an absolute crack, and what about his sister and his group of friends? They are the best of the film.
